We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and innovative swimming lessons in line with the Swim England (ASA) National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
Create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all members in the pool and surrounding areas.
Provide excellent customer service, offering care and attention to every child and family.
Maintain accurate attendance and progress records in collaboration with the Enterprise Swim School Pool Manager, ensuring individual, team, and departmental targets are consistently met.
Work closely with Swim School management and the Enterprise Coordinator to achieve and exceed objectives, contributing to the commercial and operational success of the department and wider College Enterprises.
Qualifications
Essential
: ASA Level 1 or Level 2 Teaching Qualification, or STA Level 1 or Level 2.
Barring Service Check.
Desirable
: Additional swimming-related qualifications (training can be provided).
A proven track record of teaching or coaching swimmers of different ages and abilities.
Experience in meeting targets and collaborating with colleagues to improve programme delivery and outcomes.
