Langley Hall Primary Academy is seeking a dynamic qualified Swimming Coach who will put Langley Hall on the map for Swimming. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to pupils, helping them develop confidence, water safety awareness, and swimming technique in a fun and engaging environment.

Remit:
To ensure that every child is water safe and can swim the required 25 metres as set out in the National Curriculum. To work towards achieving this target by the child's 5th birthday so that basic skills can be practised until children are able to swim with great skills and confidence. To prepare pupils for competitive swimming.
Role & Responsibilities
1) To teach/coach all of Groups.
2) To know and understand the attainment targets for pupils of varying ages for swimming as written in the new national curriculum.
3) To keep records of pupil progress.
4) Be available for Galas on weekends or evenings if necessary.
5) Actively take part in the smooth running of swimming lessons.
6) To promote the growth and development of the Squad Groups.
7) To build a good working relationship with parents and competitors.
8) To be involved with any fund raising related to swimming.
9) To maintain a confidentiality regarding any information that may be passed to you knowing when it is right to disclose this to a line manager or safeguarding co-ordinator.
10) To be professional at all times.
11) To ensure that any required teacher swimming qualifications and lifesaving are valid and up to date.
