Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team at our Holiday Inn Brighouse venue (Clifton Village, Brighouse HD6 4HW), on a Monday 4:15-6:15pm, Friday 4:15-6:15pm and Sunday 12noon-4pm providing high-quality swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Duties
- Educate and instruct students on proper swimming techniques and water safety
- Develop lesson plans tailored to each swimmer's abilities and goals
- Provide constructive feedback to swimmers to enhance their skills
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment in the pool area
- Organise and supervise swimming classes effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in swim instruction or sports coaching is advantageous
- A passion for swimming and teaching others
- Strong communication skills and patience with students of varying abilities
Qualifications
- Level 2 STA Award / Certificate, SEQ level 2 or equivalent
- Rescue qualification (NPLQ, NRASTC, Safety award or Equivalent)
