We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimmimg. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating individuals of all ages in swimming techniques, safety practices, and water confidence. Your role will be vital in promoting a love for swimming while ensuring that all participants feel safe and supported in the water.
Responsibilities
Conduct 1:2:1 & 1:2 lessons of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
Educate students on water safety, swimming techniques, and personal responsibility in aquatic environments.
Monitor and assess the progress of each swimmer, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
Maintain a safe and clean environment within the pool area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, concerns, and achievements.
To be able to open and close the pool on your own.
Keeping poolside clean & safe.
Experience
Previous experience in teaching small mixed ability groups or 1-2-1 lessons
A strong understanding of swimming techniques and safety protocols is essential.
Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is an advantage but not mandatory; training may be provided.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages.
A patient and encouraging approach to teaching, fostering a positive learning environment.
Experience with SEN children would be an advantage.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 25.00-30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 - 5 per week
