Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our aquatic programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging swimming lessons, ensuring the safety of all participants, and fostering a positive learning environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in sports coaching or teaching to utilise their skills in a dynamic setting. The Swim Instructor will play a vital part in helping swimmers of all ages and abilities develop their skills and confidence in the water.

Duties

Deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and monitoring activities at all times Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to facilitate effective learning Assess individual progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly Maintain a clean and organised pool area, adhering to health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding swimmer progress and safety concerns Assist with organising swimming events or specialised programmes as required Uphold professional standards of behaviour, appearance, and punctuality at all times

Qualifications

Any recognised swim teaching qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate learners of all ages Passion for teaching and promoting water safety awareness Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
