Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team at a local swimming facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and sports coaching and will ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.

S4 Swim School, established in 2006, we focus on teaching both children and adults through their specialised "S4" approach, which stands for Streamlining, Sculling, Strength, and Skills. Their philosophy emphasises technique over effort, encouraging swimmers to develop a natural feel for the water. S4 Swim School offers progressive programs for all skill levels, ensuring individual attention with small group sizes. The school nurtures competitive instincts and provides a clear pathway from learning to swim to advanced coaching. We use Noodles as a teaching aid.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver high-quality swimming lessons
- Instruct students on proper swimming techniques and water safety
- Provide constructive feedback to swimmers to help them improve their skills
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs and abilities
- Ensure a safe and clean swimming environment at all times

Requirements

- Qualified swim instructor with relevant certifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with individuals of all ages
- Previous experience in sports coaching or swim instruction is desirable
- Knowledge of water safety practices and emergency procedures
- Patient, enthusiastic, and organised approach to teaching swimming

Job Types: Part-time, & Freelance

Pay: 22.00-25.00 per hour
