Swimkidz North Bucks an established and sought after swim school that deliver high quality swimming lessons in and around Milton Keynes and Buckingham.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our fun, friendly and supportive team as a qualified stage Swimming Teacher for children 4 years +. This opportunity will not only deliver good financial rates of pay but also provides an exceedingly high degree of job satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming and sports coaching, with the ability to educate individuals of all ages in swimming techniques and water safety. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting water confidence and ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all participants.

This fun and very rewarding role will require you to:

Guide children through our progressive 'Pathway to Swimming' in a fun and engaging manner. Teach structured and progressive lessons ensuring each child's individual needs are met Be able to demonstrate and confidently deliver new skills as well and reinforcing existing ones. Work with a pool assistant when numbers dictate, to fully maximise the available teaching time Use our dedicated CRM system, provide feedback to both parents and area manager on children's progress. These will be through continuous assessments that will be logged onto our systems. This in turn will generate reports to parents and carers via email. Always be responsible for health and safety working with other team members to ensure the safety of everyone on site. Complete our electronic register each week

What we are looking for:

This is a role where you can let your personality really shine, we are looking for the following personal qualities and skills:

Exceptional customer service skills Friendly, enthusiastic, engaging and passionate Ability to engage with children at all levels Team player-supporting each other Listening skills Good time management and organisational skills. Flexibility in working with different ages and abilities.
Experience of teaching all abilities within your qualification is important although not essential, as we can offer training for the right candidate. However, a passion to deliver a lifesaving skill is paramount as is the drive and commitment to take on and learn new skills.
