Background to Birtley Community Aquatic Centre
Birtley Community Aquatic Centre is a community-focused facility dedicated to providing a high-quality and safe environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities. We reopened the pool in September 2024, following significant investment in the summer of 2024, including replacing the existing boilers and other items of pool equipment, refurbishing the water slide, buying a giant inflatable obstacle course and installing new LED lighting and security measures on all entry points. Since the pool re-opened we have achieved steady growth in customer footfall and consistently high customer satisfaction ratings on google review with an average score of 4.3
We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Lead Leisure Attendants to join our dedicated team. If you have a customer focused approach, a "can-do" attitude, excellent organisational skills, a commitment to health and safety, and experience of working in a similar role at another swimming pool, we would love to hear from you!
