Private Swimming Teacher
We are looking for a Qualified Swimming Teacher to coach our two young children aged 3 and 1. These would be private lessons taking place in the pool at our home. Our 3 year old can tread water and doggy paddle independently whilst using armbands but needs to build confidence, particularly with putting her face in the water. Our 1 year old is completely fearless and will happily submerge himself under the water, he needs to be taught about water safety as well as working towards independent swimming. Ultimately, we wanted to work towards them both being strong, confident swimmers without floating aids.Duties:
Teach 2 young children about water safety and swimming techniques Plan and conduct private swimming lessons - either 1:1 or 1:2 Evaluate progress and provide feedback for improvement Organise and supervise swimming activities and games
Skills:
Proficient in swimming and experience as a swim teacher Hold a level 2 swimming qualification Positive and professional attitude Excellent communication skills to interact with young children Friendly and enthusiastic Experience making the lessons fun as well as educational Lifesaving qualification preferred Valid DBS
Schedule:
Friday mornings preferred, from 8am onwardsJob Type: Part-time
Pay: 30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 2 per week
