We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our aquatic programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Duties
Plan and deliver swimming lessons tailored to the needs of diverse age groups and abilities.
Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety procedures effectively.
Monitor participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
Ensure the safety of all swimmers by enforcing pool rules and responding promptly to emergencies.
Maintain a clean and organised pool area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Communicate clearly with participants, parents, and colleagues regarding lesson plans and progress.
Assist in organising aquatic programmes, competitions, or special events as required.
Skills
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, with a passion for water safety education.
Strong communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate learners of all ages.
Ability to demonstrate swimming techniques confidently across various strokes.
Organised with the ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to individual needs.
Friendly, approachable manner with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly in emergency situations.
Prior experience working with children or vulnerable groups is advantageous but not essential. This role provides an enriching environment for individuals committed to promoting aquatic safety while fostering a love for swimming through professional instruction.
