We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Swimming Teachers to join our Crazy Crabs team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and swimming, with a focus on ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Time: Saturday Mornings

Location: Caversham, Reading

Starting date: After Feb half term

Duties

Deliver engaging swimming lessons tailored to individual skill levels and ages, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Ages can range from 10 weeks old to 15 years old depending on experience and qualifications. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and monitoring activities at all times Plan and organise lesson programmes that promote skill development, confidence, and enjoyment in the water Provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to help swimmers improve their techniques Maintain a clean and safe pool environment, including equipment checks and water safety procedures Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and personal growth

Skills

Proven experience in swim teaching, with qualifications with the STA or SE. Strong communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in teaching methods Knowledge of water safety standards and first aid procedures is desirable Organised with the ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles Enthusiastic team player with a genuine passion for promoting health through sport and recreation as well as a positive addition to our fun team.
Pay determined off qualifications and experience.

Pay: 15.00-30.00 per hour
