Paige's Swim School is a small, friendly swim school offering high-quality, child-centred lessons in a warm, welcoming pool. We pride ourselves on creating a calm and nurturing environment where children can build confidence and develop a love for swimming.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and enjoy working with young children in small group settings.

Responsibilities

Teach swimming lessons to children of all abilities, from babies and preschoolers to confident young swimmers. Deliver engaging, progressive lessons that follow the Swim England framework. Monitor and record each swimmer's progress, providing clear feedback to parents and guardians. Create a positive, encouraging, and safe environment that supports learning and enjoyment. Maintain safety standards at all times and follow pool operating procedures. Help with pool setup, tidy-up, and equipment organisation.
Requirements & Skills

STA or Swim England Level 2 Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming (essential). Baby & Preschool teaching qualification (desirable). National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) (desirable). Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a learn-to-swim environment. Confident working with young children and building positive relationships with families. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A warm, patient, and encouraging teaching style that fits the ethos of a small swim school.
