Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. Saturday mornings 8.30-12.40pm teaching group lessons. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating swimmers of all ages and skill levels, ensuring they develop their swimming abilities in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Duties

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailored to various skill levels. Educate students on swimming techniques, water safety, and personal fitness. Develop lesson plans that promote skill progression and confidence in the water. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. Maintain a safe and clean swimming environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

Level 2 Swim England Qualification DBS National Rescue Test or Lifeguard Qualification Personal Insurance Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with students of all ages. A thorough understanding of swimming techniques and water safety practices. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. A genuine passion for educating others and fostering a love for swimming.
