Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our aquatic programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching swimming skills to individuals of all ages and abilities, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment.

Hours



Every Saturday 0900 - 1200 plus available to cover during the week (after 4pm). Additional hours may be available on a regular basis.

Responsibilities include:



Planning and delivering lessons to suit each swimmer in the class Ensuring safe provision and correct use of all equipment Establishing and making sure that safety standards are followed in every lesson Identifying participants' abilities and encouraging them to reach their full potential Providing explanations and demonstrating swimming techniques Correcting faults in swimming techniques and identifying ways to improve performance

Essential skills



STA Award/Certificate OR ASA Level 2 Being a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children and adults to participate in swimming Setting ground rules for each session Evaluating sessions and giving constructive feedback Regularly assessing each participant's ability and progress Confidence to work independently and as part of a team Highly organised with the ability to multi-task
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 16.22-18.54 per hour
