Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team and run our term-time swimming lessons. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting water safety, developing swimming skills, and fostering a love for swimming among participants.
We are looking for specific days and time :
Saturdays 9.00 am - 1.00 pm and Sundays 1.45 pm-3.45pm
There will be possibility to expand the hours to weekdays and delivering crash courses for entire summer.
The role would start from w/c 16 March 2026
Requirements
Swim England Level 2 Swim Teacher or STA Certificate in Teaching Swimming, international qualifications considered Substantive experience teaching aquatics to children aged 3-18 Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate effectively. A passion for swimming and promoting water safety. Ability to work well with individuals of all ages, from children to adults. Certification in lifesaving or first aid is an advantage, but not mandatory. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A friendly, approachable demeanour with a strong commitment to customer service.

Support the effective, safe and fun delivery of the swimming program Support a safe and secure environment for swimmers in the pool Other responsibilities within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the role as determined by the Operations Manager*
Desirable qualifications/experience
RLSS or STA Swim Teacher Rescue Award, or the willingness to undertake trainingJoin us in making a difference in the lives of our swimmers by helping them gain confidence in the water while developing their skills!
Job Type: Part-time
Work Location: In person
Pay: 29.50 per hour
Expected hours: 6 per week
