Calday Grange Swimming Pool is looking to recruit Swim England Level 1 or level 2 Swimming Teachers to assist in the provision of high-quality swimming lessons across our children's and adults swimming lessons Program

You will be working closely with our other swim teachers and under the direction of our management team.

You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and a committed individual, possessing excellent customer care skills, whilst having a mature and responsible approach.

The Swimming Teacher will be confident to work independently or with support from a Swim England Level 1 teacher to develop, deliver, market and evolve the range of swimming lessons available.

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and have experience in working with a wide internal and external audience of mixed age, experience and ability, within the sport and leisure industry.

A good knowledge of health and safety and high standards of customer service is essential. You will need to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends.

Qualifications to include either ; Swim England Level 2 Teachers Certificate, or Level 1.

It is desirable (but not essential) to hold a current RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or National Rescue Award for Swimming Teacher and Coaches qualification (training can be provided).

The position is on a casual basis and planned into a swimming programme, so applicants must be able to work within this timetable which covers classes across evenings and weekends.

Applicants will also be subject to an enhanced DBS clearance.
