Edge Swim School is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated
Swimming Teachers
to join our friendly and supportive team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, structured lessons in a fun and safe environment, helping children of all ages gain confidence and develop essential swimming skills.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and progressive swimming lessons following teaching standards
Teach children of varying ages and abilities in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment
Ensure all sessions run safely and professionally, maintaining excellent poolside supervision
Assess, record, and track swimmer progress
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues
Promote water safety and build swimmer confidence
Represent Edge Swim School with professionalism, enthusiasm, and commitment
Required Skills & Qualifications
Swim England Level 1/2 or STA Award or certificate Qualification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire swimmers
Reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and confident
Must be available to work
Thursday evenings
and
Saturday mornings
Commitment to high standards of teaching and customer service
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with children in a teaching or coaching environment
Valid First Aid Certificate
National Rescue Award Swimming Teachers Coaches qualification
NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification)
Enhanced DBS
Required Availability:
Term-Time Swimming Lessons - All Hallows Catholic School
Thursday evening sessions between 5:00pm-7:45pm
Saturday mornings 10:00am-12:30pm

Optional: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm
