WHAT TO EXPECT

We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Lead System Control Design Engineer to join the JLR family. This role is based in the Propulsion Domain at our Gaydon location and involves working within an Agile framework. As the Lead System Design Engineer, you will provide technical leadership to deliver new features and shape the strategy for control system design. Your role will be pivotal in embedding best practices through the development of methods, processes, and tools.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Lead the development of new features at the logical and system levels, including system architecture and requirements within a model-based environment

Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure feature requirements are met

Contribute to the development of tools and methodologies aimed at enhancing system design processes

Mentor and coach other team members to foster a world-class capability in system design processes

Clearly present issues and propose feasible solutions while providing regular status updates to stakeholders at all levels

Support colleagues in resolving critical technical issues

Utilize vehicle data analysis to drive improvements
