WHAT TO EXPECT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a System Design Engineer to join the JLR family in the Propulsion Domain at our Gaydon location. In this role, you will work within an Agile framework, contributing to technical delivery and shaping the strategy for system design development. You will play a crucial role in embedding best practices by developing methods, processes, and tools.

As a part of our team, you\'ll be at the forefront of delivering the electrified future at Jaguar Land Rover, working on cutting-edge technologies alongside a highly motivated and supportive group. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Contribute significantly to the development of new features at the logical and system levels, including architecture development and requirements in a model-based environment.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure feature requirements are met.

Play a role in the development of tools and methodologies to enhance system design processes.

Clearly present issues and propose feasible solutions while providing regular status updates to stakeholders at all levels.

Support colleagues in resolving critical technical issues

Effective communication within the Agile framework and with key stakeholders.
