We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
System Investments Manager
to lead and manage the successful delivery of system transformation investments across the UK. This is a unique opportunity to drive impactful change, ensuring optimal performance, financial sustainability, and long-term benefits for people living with cancer.
About the Role:
As the System Investments Manager, you will:
Lead a pipeline of system transformation initiatives aligned with Macmillan's strategic objectives, applying repayable financing models.
Manage contracts and partnerships to ensure successful project mobilisation, delivery, and sustainability.
Oversee performance and financial analysis, ensuring projects meet outcome measures, KPIs, and quality standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and community organisations.
Act as a subject matter expert and represent Macmillan at external boards, forums, and conferences.
Collaborate across teams to develop innovative funding models and deliver system transformation priorities.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with strategic and operational partners in a collaborative and solution-focused manner.
Demonstrates a proven track record of leading complex projects and managing contracts to successful outcomes.
Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
Has in-depth knowledge of the health and care sector, including funding models and regulatory frameworks.
Is skilled in data analysis, performance management, and quality improvement.
Brings a high degree of personal and professional credibility, integrity, and independent decision-making.
Understands the complexities of system change and is committed to continuous learning and development.
You will collaborate with:
Colleagues within the Partnerships Directorate and across Macmillan.
External stakeholders in health and care systems, including senior executives and community organisations.
People with lived experience of cancer and health inequities.
Social investment intermediaries and consultants.
