About the role




Are you ready to lead transformative change in higher education? The University of Sunderland is seeking a forward-thinking Timetable System Implementation Manager to implement our new timetabling solution. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our timetabling and awards team, supporting the roll out of timetabling, examinations, room booking, attendance monitoring and graduation software.


As the Timetable System Implementation Manager, you will be at the forefront of a major digital transformation, managing a dedicated project team and collaborating across departments to streamline processes, influence policy, and ensure a seamless transition to our new system. Your work will directly impact the student experience and operational efficiency across the University. This two-year project promises to bring significant change to our timetabling and awards operations.

This is a fixed-term contract for 2 years.

What you can bring




The ideal candidate will have substantial professional experience in managing timetabling within higher education or a similar environment, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale change projects. This role demands a keen eye for detail, proactive problem-solving skills, a passion for innovation, and exceptional communication abilities. Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to influence, collaborate, engage, and inspire others on this exciting journey.
