Job Description

Receives SACT referrals and schedules patients for elective inpatient admission or day case treatments and procedures Coordination of elective inpatient admissions for the Northern Centre for Cancer Care, (NCCC) and Specialist Haematology (SH) Act a principle contact with patients, health care professionals and other organisations to ensure an efficient, effective and value for money service is in place, maintained and developed Liaises with patients, healthcare professionals and other agencies regarding appointments for chemotherapy. Contributes to the delivery of a consistently high standard of patient care as part of the multi-disciplinary team. Participates in directorate meetings to support admissions and bed allocation of emergency admissions. Provides day to day supervision for A&C staff on the Ward 36, NCCC.



Provides local training & induction and yearly appraisals for these staff
