To support this mission, we are seeking a

Systems Integrator

with strong experience in cloud platforms, APIs, and automation tools to design and deliver seamless integrations across our ecosystem.

Role Overview



The

Systems Integrator (SI)

will be responsible for connecting and customising Virtue Vets' existing systems to ensure smooth data flow, unified reporting, and improved operational efficiency.
You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders, IT vendors, and management to deliver a cohesive, automated, and scalable digital environment for our clinics.

This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of IT, software, and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities



1. Systems Integration & Architecture



Design, build, and maintain integrations between:

Provet Cloud

(Practice Management Software)

Microsoft 365

(SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power BI)

Breathe HR

(HR & leave management)

3CX Telephony

WhatsApp Business API / Meta Business Suite

CRM (ActiveCampaign or HubSpot)

Website & Google Analytics Develop secure and reliable data flows between these systems using REST APIs, Power Automate, or middleware (e.g. Zapier, Make.com, or custom Python/.NET scripts). Document all integrations in clear, version-controlled repositories.

2. Workflow Automation



Analyse operational workflows (HR, onboarding, scheduling, client communications, etc.) and automate them using

Power Automate

and

SharePoint Lists

. Create automated approval, notification, and reporting pipelines for internal tasks (e.g., new hire onboarding, supplier approvals, clinic performance dashboards). Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to consolidate clinical, operational, and financial data.

3. Customisation & Optimisation



Customise

Provet Cloud

,

Breathe HR

, and

3CX

to suit Virtue Vets' internal processes -- e.g., adding custom fields, triggers, and templates. Optimise Microsoft 365 structure (SharePoint folder access, Teams channels, OneDrive permissions) for better collaboration and compliance. Implement single sign-on (SSO) and unified identity management across systems.

4. Security, Governance, and Compliance



Ensure all integrations comply with

GDPR

,

ISO27001

, and internal security policies. Implement secure authentication (OAuth2, API keys, MFA). Maintain audit logs and documentation for all API interactions and automation workflows. Coordinate with

vendors

to align system access with Intune device policies.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management



Work with clinic managers, the Operations Lead, and IT Vendors to translate business requirements into integration blueprints. Provide technical documentation, SOPs, and handover guides for internal staff. Deliver training and support for automated workflows and new system features.

Required Skills & Experience



Proven experience as a

Systems Integrator

,

Automation Engineer

, or

Technical Consultant

(preferably in multi-system or multi-site environments). Strong understanding of:

API integration

(REST, JSON, Webhooks)

Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps)

Microsoft 365 Admin, SharePoint, Intune, Azure AD

Database design

and

data mapping

across cloud systems

Automation tools:

Power Automate, Zapier, Make (Integromat), or equivalent Hands-on experience integrating at least one

practice management

or

CRM system

(e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Provet Cloud, Cliniko, etc.) Strong grasp of

GDPR

,

data security

, and

role-based access control (RBAC)

. Excellent documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Desirable Skills



Familiarity with

Python

,

JavaScript

, or

.NET

for building custom connectors. Experience with

Azure Functions

or

AWS Lambda

for serverless integration. Prior experience in healthcare, veterinary, or other regulated environments. Understanding of

telephony APIs

(3CX, Twilio, WhatsApp Business API). Knowledge of

AI-assisted automation

(e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT API, or custom AI integrations).
