We're looking for a detail-oriented individual who thrives on problem-solving, customer service, and continuous improvement within a dynamic HR systems environment.


About the role





Working within the HR systems team, you will provide a customer focused, first-line system support and associated administration duties for the HR & Payroll system. This includes managing a dedicated email inbox and dealing with day to day enquiries from internal and external customers. The HR & Payroll System comprises many modules which also includes our online recruitment system for University job vacancies, Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service as well as other devolved user access.



For this role, you will need to be on site 4 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

What we're looking for




You will:




Provide administrative support to system upgrades, which includes planning, administering and testing, ensuring all relevant testing has been completed by the HR team. Be required to develop and maintain our HR Sharepoint webpages which provide a wealth of information for our customers. Have a keen interest in systems and be able to demonstrate examples of delivering high levels of customer service in an effective, flexible way when providing detailed advice and guidance. Have a pro-active and problem-solving approach. Be required to work collaboratively, seeking continuous improvement where possible, whilst ensuring attention to detail.
