About the Role
The governors of Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and skilled Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our highly motivated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a practitioner who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development within a caring Catholic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils in their learning and development, including delivering a variety of targeted interventions
Assist in implementing the curriculum and maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
Provide objective and accurate feedback to teachers on pupil progress and achievements, supported by appropriate evidence
Understand and respond to the needs of children from diverse backgrounds and those with special educational needs
Actively contribute to the Catholic ethos and community of the school
Work collaboratively as part of a team and foster strong partnerships with staff, pupils, and families
Required Qualifications and Experience
Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting
Knowledge of supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs, particularly those with special educational needs
Ability to carry out curriculum requirements effectively
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Desirable Qualities
A belief that every child deserves the best and a commitment to setting high expectations
A team player who values partnership working and contributes positively to the school community
