With 31 luxury holiday lodges, seven scenic lakes, an on-site cafe, bar, and bait & tackle shop, we provide a peaceful getaway for anglers and holidaymakers. Role Overview
As Bait and Tackle Shop Manager, you are responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the shop, both in-store and online. Your role includes managing staff, overseeing stock and sales, and handling customer service. You will also coordinate lake and match bookings as part of your duties.
Key Responsibilities
Shop Operations
Manage the shop floor, ensuring it is tidy, well-stocked, and customer-friendly
Oversee all aspects of daily shop activity, including opening and closing procedures.
Monitor and drive in-store sales
Staff Management
Supervise shop staff and support team development
Create staff rotas and manage absence requests
Lead by example with a hands-on, customer-focused approach
Stock & Suppliers
Monitor stock levels and place timely orders
Manage relationships with key suppliers
Ensure products are correctly priced and well presented
Online Store
Oversee the online shop, ensuring product listings are up to date
Ensure orders are processed, packed, and dispatched promptly
Deal with customer queries and online feedback promptly and professionally
Lake and Match Bookings
Oversee day ticket sales and match bookings.
Provide support and information to anglers and match organisers
General Expectations
Maintain high standards of customer service at all times
Represent Westwood Lakes professionally and positively
Work collaboratively with other departments and management
Have a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and peak periods
Digital Assets and Marketing
Create engaging content, promotions, and events to drive customer engagement on both social media platforms and website.
Respond to customer enquiries and feedback on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
On a wider scale
Participating in the planning, preparing and participation of events on site such as festivals or events.
Working as part of a team, covering sickness and annual leave when required.

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
