Duties

Assist in food preparation, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to recipes and food safety standards. Provide support to kitchen staff during busy service periods, demonstrating effective time management skills. Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Engage with customers to promote menu items, employing upselling techniques where appropriate. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with inventory management as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements in food preparation. Experience in serving customers and providing excellent customer service is advantageous. A background in kitchen or culinary roles will be considered a plus.
