We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced environment. This role involves supporting kitchen operations, ensuring food safety, and assisting with serving duties to enhance the overall dining experience.
Duties
:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Engage with customers to provide excellent service and upsell menu items when appropriate.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
Perform basic math calculations for portioning ingredients and managing inventory supplies.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices.
Basic culinary skills with an eagerness to learn more about food preparation techniques.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience in serving or customer interaction is an advantage, particularly in upselling menu items.
A team player who can communicate effectively with colleagues and customers alike.
