Takeaway Assistant/delivery Driver
Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Takeaway Assistant to join our team! This is a mixed role involving front-of-house duties and delivering orders (only when required), so a valid UK driving licence is essential.
Your vehicle must already have existing insurance -- delivery car insurance will be provided by us. Maintenance of your vehicle is not the employer's responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Taking orders in-store and over the phone
Packing food accurately
Assisting with general shop duties
Preparing orders when required
Following the cleaning schedule during your shift to maintain high hygiene standards
Delivering customer orders safely and on time when required.
Requirements:
Valid UK driving licence
Your vehicle must have existing insurance
Maintenance of your vehicle is your responsibility
Good communication skills
Flexibility is essential -- latest shift ends at 11pm, and you must be willing to work until then
Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
