We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and have experience in delivering goods efficiently and safely. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting products to various locations while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
Deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and any incidents that occur during transport.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including heavy lifting and organisation of stock.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
A valid driving licence with the appropriate class for the vehicle being operated is required.
Experience in commercial driving is advantageous.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
