Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality, particularly within the hotel or restaurant sectors. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee food production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Develop and implement training programmes for new hires and ongoing staff development. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth. Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly, coordinating with cooks and kitchen staff to meet service demands. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the store, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels or restaurants. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations is essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of store management.
