The Main Purpose of Your Role

As the Takeaway Team Leader the main purpose of your role is to be responsible for ensuring the production of food from the Takeaway and ensure our product is of a great standard along with a great customer experience.

Your key priorities and duties will be;

o Previous chef experience is essential

o Plan daily operations to ensure appropriate levels of food preparation are completed in advance.

o Support the team in maintaining professional standards, including dress code, productivity, and adherence to break times, in line with Robertshaw's policies.

o Place orders for products and packaging as required, ensuring stock levels meet operational needs.

o Monitor and maintain effective stock control.

o Assist with the opening and closing procedures of the takeaway as needed.

o Conduct regular date and quality checks, ensuring proper stock rotation.

o Prepare and cook food in accordance with established recipes and standards.

o Communicate any changes to recipes to the accounts team promptly.

o Ensure full compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations across the team.

o Accurately complete all required Safe & Legal documentation.

o Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the workplace, including thorough cleaning of workstations and overall upkeep of all areas throughout the day.

o Support the manager in creating staff rotas and providing holiday cover.

o Assist with regular stock takes.

o Participate in training and onboarding of new team members.

o Uphold excellent standards of customer service across the team.

o Process customer payments accurately using the till system.

o Record and monitor any wastage.

o Utilising the team by ensuring flexibility and moving people as the needs of the business or time of day change

Contributing to the senior team by:

o Ensuring yourself and others uphold our Values

o Carrying out any reasonable request from Managers and the MD

o Deputising in the absence of the Takeaway Manager

o Being proactive

o Prepared to work and travel between all Robertshaw's sites

40 hours per week
