Seashell is a nationally recognised charity based in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, providing outstanding education and care for children and young adults with complex learning difficulties, disabilities, and communication needs. Our services include the Royal School Manchester, Royal College Manchester, 17 residential homes, and a range of outreach and family support services, all located on one vibrant, inclusive campus.
About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Associate, you'll be at the heart of our recruitment operations, working closely with hiring managers, the wider HR team, and the Talent Business Partner to deliver a seamless and engaging recruitment journey.
You'll manage a diverse portfolio of vacancies, ranging from high-volume frontline care and education roles to specialist and professional positions, ensuring each stage of the process is efficient, inclusive, and aligned with our values.
This is a hands-on role where you will:
Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle, from role approval and advertising to offer and onboarding.
Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the process.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment advice.
Collaborate with Onboarding and HR colleagues to ensure smooth handovers and alignment with our approach to Safer Recruitment (Keeping Children Safe in Education)
Support continuous improvement by contributing to recruitment reporting, process reviews, and employer branding initiatives.
Coordination and attendance at Seashell attraction events and opportunities.
About You
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team.
You don't need experience within care and education, just energy, organisation, and a people-first mindset to everything you do and appreciation for how the work you do will impact our children's and young people's lives.
You'll ideally have:
Experience in a recruitment role (in-house, RPO, or agency).
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
Good understanding of recruitment systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
Experience conducting interviews or supporting hiring managers through the selection process.
An understanding of the wider employee lifecycle and how this opportunity can influence this

About Seashell Trust
Seashell Trust is a national charity supporting children and young adults with complex learning disabilities and additional communication needs from across the UK. We provide care and education for children and young people aged between 4-25 years in our homes, at our school and college, and through our short break's services.
