At The University of Law we're looking for a
Talent Acquisition Coordinator
to join our wider People and Organisational Development Team.
This is a full time position on a 12 month fixed term contract, working remotely from any UK location.
You'll be at the heart of all things recruitment, working closely with stakeholders across the university to deliver a first-class hiring experience. From coordinating candidate journeys to managing agency relationships, you'll play a key role in developing Talent Acquisition at ULaw.
With sole responsibility for managing our temporary and casual recruitment, you'll lead every stage of the process, therefore this would be a great opportunity to strengthen your stakeholder management, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
As our Talent Acquisition Coordinator you will be responsible for:
Managing the Temporary Recruitment Service Desk, handling end-to-end recruitment for temporary roles, including liaising with both the hiring managers and recruitment agencies, candidate screening, and placement.
Lead the end-to-end recruitment of all casual workers, conducting recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers and ensuring continuous improvement for casual worker planning and recruitment.
Scheduling interviews and phone screenings, as well as any additional assessments as appropriate for the roles directly with Talent Acquisition team, candidates and hiring managers.
Updating candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems, tracking all new hires, in coordination with the Talent Acquisition team while working cross functionally with People & OD where needed.
Acting as a key point of contact for candidate and hiring manager queries to support the Talent Acquisition Partners.
Monitoring and handling all queries in the general Talent Acquisition inbox.
Be a key contributor on all Talent Acquisition Projects.
Support the TA team with proactive Talent search and Market Mapping of candidates in the external market.
Supporting with the creation and running of key recruitment reports.
Is this you?:
We are looking for someone with a strong background in candidate/client management within an inhouse or agency setting, who enjoys working in a fast-paced working environment.
Experience of working as an HR/Recruitment Professional.
Experience of using a recognised ATS/ HR Software/Database System.
Strong team player; easily builds relationships with others (co-workers, managers, candidates, etc.).
Responsive, collaborative and takes initiative to assist others.
Ability to learn and navigate new software tools and applications.
Good, confident communicator.
High levels of assertiveness with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
Good knowledge of MS Office particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent standard of written English.
