The Premier League's People team is looking to appoint a Talent Acquisition Executive to support us in coordinating and driving forward our work to attract the best talent into the Premier League workforce.

In this role you will work closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and other Talent Acquisition Executive to provide operational recruitment support to departments in the Premier League Head office. You will provide support across the end-to-end recruitment process - from helping to write the job adverts and planning attraction strategies; to coordinating interviews and assessments; and ensuring candidates have a positive experience at all stages of the recruitment process. You will play an active role in building our talent pool and candidate network and you will work on exciting projects, such as internship and apprenticeship programmes.

The People team currently has 17 team members and delivers a proactive and highly supportive human resource function to the Premier League workforce. There is extensive work completed across staff engagement; business culture; diversity and inclusion; learning and development and recruitment; along with the core People service delivering payroll, benefits and employee relations support. The team currently supports the UK workforce, a Singapore office, a small team in Belgium, a New York office and India.

The role





The main duties include but are not limited to:Provide administration support across the recruitment process including:

o Creation of Job adverts and advertisement
o Application shortlisting and screening
o Interview and candidate assessment coordination
o Candidate feedbackCoordinate and manage offers of employment as directed by the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager. Lead on the pre-employment requirements for all employees including right to work, reference and safer recruitment checks. Provide support and input on screening candidate CVs, conducting interviews and building shortlists for the roles that you are working on. Act as recruitment lead for selected group companies and joint ventures such as; Premier League Charitable Fund, Professional Game Academy Audit Company, Football DataCo. This will involve coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process for all of their vacancies, with oversight and support from the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager. Manage and oversee the Recruitment inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner. Champion safer-recruitment processes and procedures and become an advocate for the culture of the organisation. In conjunction with colleagues, coordinate annual Safer Recruitment training for qualifying line managers. Attend industry specific events that will increase the organisation's reach to future talent Support the Head of Talent and Senior Talent Acquisition Manager in developing the Premier League's external employer brand, with an aim to increase the size and diversity of the talent pool. The role supports across ad-hoc projects in the People team and will bring expertise to these as and when required.


Requirements for the role





Experience of working in a high-volume recruitment environment - either in-house or agency. Experience supporting across Digital and Technology focused roles - desirable. Excellent communication skills, including a high standard of written and oral English. Highly organised and able to prioritise. Strong relationship building skills. An eye for detail across all work output. Strong interest in being a team player. Charismatic and engaging approach. An energetic, hands-on and pragmatic approach. Evidence of a passion for working with people and being inclusive in this approach; often working beyond the confines of the job description. An interest in the business and the game of football is not essential, but you will need to develop a sound understanding of the Premier League organisation and the range of expertise and remit that exists across the Premier League workforce.
