Overview




The

Talent Acquisition Executive

plays a pivotal role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring exceptional talent across the Montcalm Collection's hotels. Working closely with the Cluster HR Manager and the Head of People & Culture, the role ensures that recruitment activities align with Montcalm's luxury standards and people-first philosophy.


As a key member of the People & Culture team, the Talent Acquisition Executive manages the full recruitment lifecycle--from job posting and candidate engagement to onboarding and induction--while supporting broader HR initiatives related to employer branding, workforce planning, and employee experience. The role champions innovative recruitment practices that help us identify and nurture top-tier hospitality talent who embody Montcalm's values of excellence, authenticity, and inclusivity.

Talent Acquisition Expertise




Manages end-to-end recruitment across multiple properties and departments. Develops creative sourcing strategies to attract high-calibre hospitality professionals. Partners with hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria. Organises and leads open recruitment days to attract diverse hospitality talent. Builds strong partnerships with hospitality schools, colleges, and universities to engage and attract graduate students.

Communication & Relationship Building




Builds strong relationships with candidates, agencies, and internal stakeholders. Acts as a trusted advisor to managers throughout the recruitment process. Promotes Montcalm's employer brand through exceptional candidate experience. Represents the organisation professionally at external recruitment events, hospitality fairs, and school partnerships.

Organisation & Process Management



Coordinates interviews, assessments, and offer processes with precision. Manages interview scheduling, selection, references, and right-to-work checks. Ensures compliance with recruitment policies and employment legislation. Maintains accurate recruitment data and reporting in HR systems (Harri).

Strategic & Creative Thinking




Supports workforce planning and talent pipeline development. Contributes to diversity and inclusion hiring initiatives. Leverages data insights to improve recruitment performance. Develops engaging and creative recruitment marketing content for social media and other digital channels.

5.

Collaboration & Culture Building




Works closely with the People & Culture team to ensure seamless onboarding. Supports engagement initiatives and induction programmes for new joiners. Acts as a brand ambassador, reflecting Montcalm's values in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities




Manage end-to-end recruitment for hotel and support roles across the Montcalm Collection. Partner with hiring managers to create compelling job descriptions and recruitment briefs. Plan, manage, and deliver open recruitment days and career events to attract new talent. Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitality schools and universities to engage future graduates. Advertise vacancies across relevant job boards, professional networks, and social media platforms. Manage and update recruitment-related content on social media to promote Montcalm's employer brand. Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate the full selection process. Manage reference checks, right-to-work documentation, and the offer process for successful candidates. Manage offers, contracts, and onboarding through HRIS platforms (e.g., Harri). Support induction programmes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the business. Maintain and update talent pipelines for key roles and future openings. Coordinate internal mobility and career progression opportunities. Track recruitment metrics and prepare reports to inform workforce planning. Promote Montcalm's employer brand through proactive engagement and events. Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with employment law, GDPR, and company policies. Contribute to People & Culture projects including engagement, DEI, and wellbeing initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications




Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination (hospitality or service industry preferred). Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and UK employment law. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously. Experience using HRIS or ATS platforms (Harri or similar) essential. CIPD Level 3 (minimum) or working towards Level 5 preferred.

Working Conditions




Based at Montcalm Collection Hotels, with occasional cross-property support. Office-based with flexibility for remote work when required. Occasional evening or weekend support for recruitment events or urgent staffing needs.
