Vision Express is seeking a proactive and collaborative Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team on an initial 9-12 month fixed-term contract. This hybrid role based in Ruddington, Nottingham offers the opportunity to work closely with hiring managers to deliver a seamless, end-to-end recruitment experience, ensuring every candidate and manager feels valued and supported.
You'll be joining a friendly and progressive team of six, where collaboration is key and variety is guaranteed. We support recruitment across all areas of the business from retail to head office and we're looking for someone who's happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved in a wide range of recruitment. While the initial focus will be on early careers, there's plenty of scope to broaden your impact.
What You'll Bring to the Team

You'll also be comfortable turning your hand to a variety of tasks, with a flexible mindset and a can-do attitude.
Here's what will help you succeed in this role:
Experience in recruitment or HR, with exposure to early careers or campus hiring
Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment using a variety of interview and evaluation techniques
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for developing young talent and promoting diversity and inclusion
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Confidence using ATS systems and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, social media)
Familiarity with CV databases, social media platforms, and professional networking
Strong attention to detail when managing recruitment data, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with internal processes and metrics
Key Responsibilities
Partnering with hiring managers to align on selection criteria and hiring needs
Building and nurturing relationships with universities, colleges, and external providers
Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience for all candidates
Representing Vision Express at career fairs, campus events, and networking sessions
Supporting employer branding initiatives focused on early careers audiences
Maintaining accurate recruitment data and providing regular reports on hiring metrics
Continuously improving recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience
