About the Role
A unique and exciting opportunity has arouse due to business growth for an experienced and knowledgeable Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team as the first TA hire, you will be a key member of our People Team, helping us to attract, engage, and hire top talent across our business. You'll set up an in-house talent acquisition team from scratch defining our processes and helping us continue to grow whilst attracting and securing the very best talent. You'll work closely with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and deliver a first-class candidate experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple departments
Partner with hiring managers to shape job specs and sourcing strategies
Advertise roles across job boards, HiBob, and the P2R careers site
Actively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and referrals
Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview stages
Develop in house assessment centres for field based roles
Maintain accurate records in our ATS (HiBob)
Support employer branding initiatives
Assist with onboarding and handovers to the wider People team
Report on recruitment metrics and KPIs
What We're Looking For
At least 1 year of experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role (in-house or agency)
Experience within a start-up where you need to define processes and build from the ground up would be highly advantageous
Confident communicator who builds strong relationships with stakeholders
Organised and able to juggle multiple roles and deadlines
Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools (HiBob, LinkedIn Recruiter)
Passionate about people and building inclusive teams
Nice to Have (But Not Essential)
Experience recruiting in retail, FMCG, or vaping/nicotine sectors
Knowledge of employer branding or recruitment marketing
CIPD or similar HR qualification
