Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity





We're looking for someone to join our Centre of Excellence for Talent & Learning on a 12 month FTC, taking the lead on a range of high-impact projects and initiatives. This role offers full ownership across the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, through to delivery, evaluation and reporting with the chance to shape outcomes that make a real difference.


While the core focus will be on Talent & Learning priorities, you'll also play a key role in wider HR deliverables, including initiatives linked to our EVP, colleague engagement, DEI, and our broader People strategy. It's a role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, requiring critical insight, creativity, and a drive to deliver tangible results. With a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement, change delivery, and ROI, you'll ensure every initiative creates clear and measurable value for our business.

What will your day look like?



Taking end-to-end ownership of designated projects within the Talent & Learning Centre of Excellence, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, timelines and quality. Partnering with key stakeholders across HR and the wider business to fully understand requirements, expectations and desired outcomes, ensuring alignment with business needs. Project managing initiatives with appropriate levels of governance, risk management and stakeholder communication. Designing, implementing and evaluating solutions that may span talent, leadership, learning, engagement, EVP, DEI, or ESG initiatives. Building clear measures of success into project plans and evaluating ROI to evidence value and impact of interventions. Producing high quality documentation, progress reports and recommendations for senior leadership. Working collaboratively with colleagues across HR and the business to share knowledge, upskill others and embed outcomes into business-as-usual activity. Flexibly supporting the wider Talent, Learning & Culture team with ad hoc deliverables that contribute to the successful implementation of the Group People Strategy.

What do we expect from you?



Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within agreed timescales. Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships quickly. Critical thinker who can balance strategic perspective with a "hands-on" delivery approach. Strong analytical skills with the ability to define and measure ROI. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail. Comfortable working in a high-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of autonomy. A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the wider team and business. Passion for broader people initiatives (EVP, engagement, DEI, ESG) and an ability to integrate these considerations into project design and delivery. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience - Desirable CIPD L&D Level 5 or 7 (or equivalent) - Desirable
