Talent Business Partner / Human Resources Business Partner/ HRBP
REMOTE UK
As a Talent Business Partner (TBP), you will serve as the local TBP for UK, South Africa, Ireland, Spain and Italy-based teams across multiple functions. You will also support the Commercial and Science and Medicine organisations globally, as required.
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Talent Business Partner and Performance Management, and operating within a matrixed global HR structure, you will act as a strategic HR partner and change agent, supporting a specific region and location(s) to deliver against the business and people strategy. You will build strong relationships with business leaders, employees, other TBPs, and HR Center of Excellence to implement integrated talent solutions that enable business success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering

  • Serve as a HR partner to Commercial and Science & Medicine leadership teams globally, as required.
  • Provide dedicated local country-based TBP support for other functions with a physical presence in the countries that this role supports.
  • Support leadership to align people strategies with business objectives and functional goals.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and team effectiveness initiatives.
Employee Relations & Talent Advisory
  • Act as a trusted advisor on performance management, talent development, organizational change, and succession planning.
  • Address and resolve complex employee relations matters with appropriate documentation and sensitivity.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and escalate, when necessary, in collaboration with Legal and Employee Relations.
  • Partner with specialist HR teams to deliver talent programs across compensation, rewards, L&D, and more.
Communication, Engagement & Data Insights
  • Drive effective communication and change management across employee life cycle initiatives.
  • Provide HR metrics, analytics, and insights to guide talent-related decision making.
  • Conduct and analyse exit interviews to inform and improve retention strategies.
  • Liaise with HR CoEs and regional TBPs to share feedback, support policy alignment, and localize global programs.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the HR function.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland labor laws and compliance practices; South Africa and global experience preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience including employee relations, talent management, and partnering with leadership.
  • Experience working in regulated or audit-sensitive environments (Life Sciences, Healthcare, Pharma, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and partner with leaders at all levels in a matrixed environment.
  • Analytical mindset with experience leveraging HR data to support strategic recommendations.
