Talent Management Business Partner

Location: North Yorkshire (Hybrid: 1-2 days office / 3-4 days remote)

Salary: \xc2\xa350-60,000 + car/allowance + benefits

As the Talent Management Business Partner, you will work with internal client groups to devise and execute talent strategies and solutions to achieve business goals and objectives. You\'ll function as a trusted business partner and advisor to business leaders. You maintain a high level of business literacy about business objectives and challenges as well as the culture of your respective client groups. You will possess high levels of resiliency, which enables you to effectively navigate various nuanced situations. This role reports to the Group HR Director and will be a key talent leadership role.

The role:

  • Engage with leadership group, along with their respective management teams, to execute talent strategies that foster organisational and people capabilities along with a strategy of creating internal mobility
  • Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to execute initiatives such as workforce planning, org design, talent review, succession planning, employee experience survey action planning, DE&I, community initiatives and senior hiring
  • Proactively identify efforts to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organisation
  • Research and explore opportunities to cultivate and strengthen communities, facilitate community activities like meetups, webinars, and forums to encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with employees to remain informed about their professional development goals and aspirations.
  • Create, deliver and support the execution of initiatives aligned to the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DE&I) roadmap
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees on talent management matters and internal mobility
  • Contribute to efforts that enhances reputation as a preferred employer.
  • Manage and prioritise multiple projects and initiatives, while exhibiting a flexible and innovative approach to support business goals
  • Act as an advocate, champion and coach for talent programs and initiatives.
  • Research and remain current on talent management trends, best practices and emerging technologies to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with leaders to assess talent and create development goals and plans for employees
  • Manage the team of Talent Acquisition specialists; provide coaching, mentorship, and feedback
The person:
  • Degree educated with a preferred concentration in Business, Human Resources, Management or related field
  • Demonstrable experience in Talent management and succession planning in a growing acquisitive organisation
  • Proven experience designing and implementing talent management programs, tools and processes
  • Experience driving proactive efforts to seek out ways to add value to the business
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and rapidly changing organisational needs
  • Effectively communicate to and align Executive Leadership Team to talent strategies
  • Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities, accepting responsibility for results of actions
  • Previously managed and coached a small team
  • Ability to build productive cross-functional partnerships
  • Ability to effectively project manage, meet deadlines and commitments
  • Exceptional listening skills, ensures mutual understanding of expectations, concepts, and practices
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Office suite products
  • Strong attention to detail with a quality mindset
  • Effective Teamwork player with proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as HR, Services, and Operations
  • Demonstrated track record of setting clear goals, executing plans efficiently, and consistently achieving impactful outcomes
  • High standard of ethical conduct and integrity, consistently adhering to established principles and values
