Job Description

We are seeking an experienced talent and recruitment manager to support the firm's continued growth and development. This role will focus both on nurturing existing staff and taking full ownership of recruitment and onboarding.

With offices in Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings, London and Ulverston, the firm supports clients nationwide and continues to expand its teams across multiple locations.

Working closely with senior management, heads of department and marketing, you will play a key role in helping individuals grow their careers while ensuring the firm attracts, recruits, and retains the right people at every level.

The role:



The role covers two core areas: people development and recruitment delivery.

On the people development side, you will:

Work with current staff to support career progression, development plans and internal growth. Support heads of department with succession planning and identifying future talent. Help embed a structured, consistent approach to development across teams.
On the recruitment and growth side, you will:

Take direct responsibility for recruitment across the firm. Proactively source candidates, including headhunting and building talent pipelines. Deliver recruitment without reliance on external agencies or recruiters. Work closely with heads of department to understand hiring needs and priorities. Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through to offer and onboarding. Design and deliver clear, well-organised onboarding processes for new joiners.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys owning recruitment outcomes and working closely with people to help them succeed in a growing professional services business.

Key requirements:



Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or people development, ideally within a professional services environment. Proven experience of direct sourcing and headhunting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence working across all levels of the business. Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple workstreams. Commercial awareness and an understanding of how talent supports business growth.
