Responsibilities
Proactively identify, engage, and shortlist qualified candidates across multiple online platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, Indeed), and regions based on specific hiring criteria, company values, and role requirements.
Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring and future hiring needs, targeting international contractors and ensuring compliance with regional regulations.
Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-quality candidates for remote and in-house ecommerce roles, with a focus on skills, qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Analyse the external talent market by researching and comparing industry trends, skills, and geographic hotspots to inform effective hiring strategies.
Pre-vet candidates; verify references, portfolios, conduct soft skill assessments, and present top candidates to HR for onboarding.
Conduct initial screenings, interviews, shortlist, and present top candidates with summary notes to HR.
Collaborate with HR to ensure selected candidates complete onboarding processes and support the candidates in completing the required documentation.
Follow up with new hires to ensure a smooth transition and clear communication
Maintain records of prospective candidates' interactions and an organised tracker of sourced candidates, their skills, location, availability, etc.
Monitor industry trends, pay expectations, and competitor strategies in ecommerce recruitment and stay up-to-date on contractor laws, sourcing regulations, and best practices in remote hiring and recommend new sourcing channels, methods, or tools to improve talent acquisition.
Requirements;
5+ years of sourcing experience developed within search firms and/or global multinational organisations.
Demonstrated ability in sourcing experienced profiles in complex, matrixed, and global organisations, ideally within the e-commerce sectors.
Broad sourcing skills, including passive candidate engagement, market research, and talent intelligence.
Ability to manage multiple searches across different functions, geographies, and business units.
Proficient communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish trust at all levels.
Experience working in an agile environment with a focus on quality, speed, and candidate experience.
Extensive experience with global recruitment tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, Just Remote).
