Job Summary

Finesse Fit out is an independent construction company, delivering high-quality commercial fit outs, operating throughout the UK. We are seeking a skilled Tape and Jointer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying tape and joint compound to drywall seams, ensuring a smooth finish for subsequent painting or wallpapering. Must be proficient in finishing external and internal corners. To keep a clean and tidy work area. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Apply tape and joint compound to drywall seams, corners, and joints to create a seamless finish. Smooth and feather the joint compound for an even surface ready for finishing. Prepare surfaces by cleaning and sanding as necessary before application. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and specifications. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times. Assist in data entry related to project documentation and inventory management.

Experience

Proven experience in tape and jointing is preferred, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. CSCS card. Asbestos Awareness. Manual Handling. Skilful in using power tools and equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship. Can do attitude. Driving license and vehicle is an advantage, but not essential. Willingness to travel.

Pay: 17.00-21.00 per hour
