Job Description
Duties:
- Mix and apply joint compound to seams, corners, and nail holes
- Smooth and feather edges of compound to create a seamless surface
- Sand surfaces to ensure a smooth finish
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of taping techniques and materials
- Proficient in using taping tools such as trowels, knives, and sanders
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, bending)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to collaborate with other tradespeople on the job site
Note: Prior experience as a Taper is required for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Experience:
Plastering: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
CSCS (required)
