Tattoo Artist

to join our team here at

Ink Couture in Newmarket, Suffolk!

We are seeking a talented and professional Tattoo Artist to join our studio. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for art, exceptional artistic skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences and a passion for progressing.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a creative environment, showcasing your artistic talent while engaging with diverse clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating custom tattoo designs, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, and contributing to the studio's welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and provide expert advice on design, placement, and colour options Create customised tattoo designs that meet client specifications while demonstrating artistic skill and attention to detail Operate tattooing equipment safely and hygienically in accordance with health regulations Maintain a clean and sterile work environment, adhering to all safety protocols Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow within the studio Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client queries professionally Collaborate with team members and uphold the studio's reputation for quality artistry

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating styles and techniques of at least 2 years. Communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to tattooing Management skills for scheduling appointments and maintaining client records Experience in social media management to promote work and attract new clients Customer service skills with a friendly, professional approach Additional skills such as Piercing & PMU are advantageous but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 24,420.00-101,781.31 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
