Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services and accounting, with the ability to analyse complex financial data and provide sound tax advice to clients. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and a solid understanding of financial planning and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients on various tax-related matters. Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with current legislation. Analyse financial data to identify potential tax savings and strategies for clients. Assist clients with financial planning, including retirement planning and investment strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for tax preparation. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and others to manage client accounts effectively. Handle accounts payable tasks as required, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a financial services or accounting role, preferably as a Tax Advisor or similar position. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant tools. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly to clients. Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail. A relevant degree or professional qualification in finance or accounting is preferred but not essential.

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
