About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced
Tax Assistant Manager
to join our growing Tax team within our UK accounting practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to take the next step in their career, offering exposure to a wide range of tax matters, including compliance, advisory, and client relationship management.
The Assistant Manager is responsible for producing high-quality client files while managing junior team members. The role is equally split between overseeing client work and mentoring junior staff. The Assistant Manager must ensure that the work is completed to high standards, meet deadlines, and maintain compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients' tax affairs, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and providing value-added tax advice.
Offer technically accurate and clear tax advice to clients, both independently and in collaboration with other teams.
Ensure the timely and efficient completion of all client tax compliance work, including returns and filings.
Plan and manage tax work to meet client needs and statutory deadlines.
Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members, assisting in their professional development and improving their tax knowledge and skills.
Review junior team members' work, providing constructive feedback and helping them grow in their roles.
Identify tax planning opportunities and proactively communicate these to clients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulatory developments.
Develop and maintain strong relationship with clients, acting as a key point of contact for tax matters.
Work with senior managers to meet financial targets for the team.
Represent Xeinadin professionally, both internally and externally.
Deliver on Xeinadin's vision and values in all work interactions, ensuring a focus on innovation and client-focused service.
Key Requirements:
ATT/CTA qualified (or working towards)
Minimum 3 years' experience in a UK tax role within an accounting firm or tax practice
Proven experience managing tax compliance processes and providing advisory support
Previous experience in tax compliance and advisory is essential
Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations

Ability to manage a portfolio of clients and ensure high standards of service delivery
Strong technical expertise in accounting or tax, with a focus on compliance and advisory

Professional and confident, with the ability to foster strong client relationships
Adaptable, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
