Tax Assistant

We are looking for confident individual to join our Tax Compliance team. You'll work closely with clients to ensure accurate and timely submission of personal and partnership tax returns. You'll also play a key role in preparing for the upcoming Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax Self-Assessment (ITSA) changes, helping clients transition smoothly to digital record-keeping and quarterly reporting.

The vacancy job specific requirement we would expect you to demonstrate are:



Minimum 2 years' experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy firm or similar Willingness to learn and progress Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Confident communicator with a client-focused approach Experience of Excel spreadsheets Experience of Xero is preferable (but not essential) ATT study support for the right candidate.
Hours of work: Permanent, full time - 36.5hrs

Location: Chester-le-Street / Jesmond

Salary: 25,000 - 27,500
