Job Description

The Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager will oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting, As well as supporting the Head of Tax with Tax planning working. This in-house role within the business services industry is based in the East Midlands and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact.

  • Manage all tax compliance processes, including corporate tax, transfer pricing and international tax.
  • Prepare and review tax reporting in line with statutory requirements.
  • Support with tax planning for the group
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure tax policies and procedures are consistently followed.
  • Liaise with external advisors and tax authorities to resolve queries and ensure compliance.
  • Provide technical tax advice to support business decisions and projects.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for tax efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
  • Support audits and other regulatory reviews as required

A successful Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager should have:
  • A professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA).
  • Experience in tax reporting and compliance within a corporate tax setting
  • Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and reporting standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office tools.
